"Peace Walk"
12:00-1:00pm

Who: El Centro de Accion Social & National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP-Pasadena)

What: PEACE  WALK

When: Saturday, March 29, 2008; 12:00pm-1:00pm (After the Cesar Chavez Event)

Where: Walk begins at Villa Parke Community Center- 363 E. Villa St.. Pasadena, CA 91103 and will end at Jackie Robinson Community Center-1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena, CA  91103

Why: In the spirit of Cesar Chavez and Martin Luther King, Jr.,  a PEACE WALK will be held to develop better communication, trust, and respect among the diverse communities of the San Gabriel Valley ( L.A. County)

The Pasadena community is invited to participate in this PEACE WALK that will begin at Villa Parke  Community Center.

The greater Pasadena community from the San Gabriel Valley and the City of Los Angeles are also invited to participate in the PEACE WALK. Students from El Centro de Accion Social youth programs will attend and our senior citizen program participants.


The purpose of the walk is to promote peace, non violence, and better communication among the African American and Latino Community.
