Pamela Cantero is a life long resident of Pasadena. She graduated from Blair High School, attended the University of California Santa Cruz and earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Politics/Latin American and Latino Studies with a minor in Education. After completing her Bachelors degree, she returned to Pasadena to work with the local community. Pamela formerly worked at Villa Parke Community Center, she joined the El Centro de Accion Social in 2008 and began working as a Youth Program Coordinator. Now she leads the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) program for El Centro de Accion Social. This project was made possible through the support from Congressman Adam Schiff. She has a personal commitment to help empower the youth in the Pasadena / Altadena area.
