Volunteer Opportunities
Title: Student Volunteer (High School)
Description: El Centro provides lots of opportunities:


Cultural Events: Duties vary per every event. Please see calendar for month.


Afterschool Program Description: Homework help, tutoring in various subjects and serve as role model to students.


1. John Muir High School (Leadership Youth Academy):

Tuesdays 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Wednesday 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.



2. Washington Middle School (Student Advocacy Project)

Mondays 12:45p.m. to 2:45p.m.

Thursdays 2:25 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.





3. El Centro Jefferson Elementary

Mondays 12: 30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesdays to Thursdays 2:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.





3. Senior Citizen Program (this program helps individuals 55 years and older) Helping senior citizens in English, basic use of computer and helping them study for their Citizenship exam. Field trips are included, health workshops.
